Rose Gold

What is Rose Gold and why is it such a popular choice?
Rose Gold is created by combining Yellow Gold with Copper (which gives it a beautiful 'pink' colour). Its popularity is on the rise & has become an extremely popular choice for jewellery.
Also known as 'Pink' or 'Red' Gold, it was also popular amongst the wealthy elite in Russia at the beginning of the nineteenth century, and was known for a time as 'Russian' Gold.
This year colorful femininity is on trend as well as retro and vintage styles, making jewellery in Rose Gold the perfect addition to any outfit. It's pink blush compliments all skin tones while being understated and elegant.
Although the names are often used interchangeably, the difference between Red, Rose, and Pink Gold is the copper content. The higher the copper content, the stronger the red coloration.
At Storm Baker Jewellers we can make any design in Rose Gold or even a combination of Gold Colours to suit you. Below are a couple of examples of Rose Gold pieces we've made recently.
